Job Description:

 

Your expertise in Microsoft Technologies, as well as manual and automated testing will be highly desired.

The development team is small which gives incoming developers a lot of opportunity to work on some great projects. The delivery of these projects requires quick turnaround times and quick fixes due to the nature of the business. If you have experience in a high pressure environment in addition to supporting a 24x7 business, you will be strongly considered.

The selected professional needs to possess a testing mindset and display an obvious passion for testing. This should be evident in their natural curiosity and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Core Skills/Experience:

- At least 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a Test Engineer doing the following:
- Testing web, client/server, and mobile applications in an Agile/Scrum process
- Black box and white box testing in a Microsoft technologies environment
- Experience in gaming industry highly preferred

Qualifications:

- B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or related work experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is highly desired
- Other experience must include data analysis, system analysis and problem solving; gathering of business requirements and translating into User Stories
- Ability to learn business quickly and translate into requirements, test cases
- Experience with Automated Testing and associated tools (TFS Coded UI, Selenium, HP QTP) essential
- Ability to create SQL Statements
- Detailed understanding of Web Services
- Experience with C#/.Net/VBScript is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS, MTM, unit testing, lab management, other features)
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of a team
- Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Project, Visio)
