Job Title: Business Technical Writer (032114-RECCAR-IO34-C-RAJ)

Tasks:
· Technical writing to support documentation for Releases and Projects.
· Work with a tool and teams of subject matter experts (SME's) to create and deliver documentation from HP Application Lifecycle Management tool.
· Focus on the solutions from the customer's point of view to ensure the deliverables bring real value to the customers.
· Work closely with the test team to develop clear, concise end-user documentation from scratch.
· Assists with internal and external customers request and maintain required documentation.
· Works on Releases managed by Managers and Team Leads.
· Works within scope and in accordance with methodology defined by Managers and Team Leads.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor of Science in English, Journalism, business, or a technical discipline (e.g., Information Systems, Applied Science, Operations Research)
· Five (5) or more years experience as a Technical Writer and Administrative Assistant
· Five (5) or more years experience with technical writing tools, applications, and workflows
· Optional: Two (2) or more years experience with test management tools (e.g., Hewlett Packard Quality Center (HP QC) or Rational/IBM Test Manager)
· EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN (IN ENGLISH)
· Experience with document management tools (e.g., Adobe, OpenOffice, WinHelp, HTML, SharePoint, etc.)
· Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products and shared receptacles such as SharePoint and Wiki
· Experience creating technical documentation such as user guides, technical guides, templates, training materials, etc.
· Experience developing and managing technical documentation review process steps
· Experience researching tools, procedures, and technical configurations
· Independent contributor and go-getter
· Interview and collaboration skills to obtain information for documentation, etc
· Research skills to find out about the tool and what information needs to be passed to internal and external users of the tool
· Comfortable and confident using industry standard documentation and communication skills
· Proven experience working with complex systems and the solution development life cycle
· The internal drive, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn, and desire to help the customers succeed
· Ability to quickly understand complex systems and be able to explain them to varying customers
· Strong analytical skills
· Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision
· Strong multi-tasking skills
· Software: (Preferred) HP Quality Center or Application Lifecycle Management tool for Requirements Management
· Experience delivering internal and external customer training
