Required Skills:

Oracle DBA for a contract position in Reston, VA  Client will require a F2F Interview.

-Consultant will perform the following Database Engineering tasks:  database engineering assessments, database build outs,  DBMS certifications, performance tuning, script writing, performing backups/recovery, database monitoring, SQL writing, providing 24 x 7 on-call production support, providing developers with database administration support during development lifecycle.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-5-10 years of Oracle database administration/engineering experience.
-Should have experience with Oracle 11gR2 on Linux and Solaris.
-Candidate should have 5+ years demonstrated, extensive, experience with Oracle RAC and database performance tuning.
-Experience should include database design for new business initiatives, installing dbms software, upgrading dbms software, troubleshooting, performance tuning, storage and capacity planning, backups, working with end users, and monitoring performance, reviewing Oracle bug fixes and patches.
-Applicant should have experience supporting production and non-production environments.
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
