Position: Oracle Process Manufacturing – Costing (Ref code: 020314-MARRIC-EX-IO55-JOH)

Location: PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

Duration: 8 months (** Strong possibility of extension of contract to 1+ years)


Description:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Costing Consultants - is this for you? Support a leading manufacturing company with their global EBS R12 implementation?

Recruiting for multiple Oracle Costing Analysts, located at the client company headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA for 8 month+ contract opportunities. The Analysts will work closely with the lead Solution Architect to plan and direct all team related work activities in regards to the design, build and deployment of U. S. Steels new standardized, global costing solution in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.

Major Responsibilities:
Manage the design, build, test and deployment phases of several Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 modules to ensure that all financial transactions, particularly those related to production and consumption, are being appropriately tracked and accounted in the integrated manufacturing costing solution. This will include Oracle modules, such as: Process Manufacturing, Discrete Inventory, Accounts Receivable (Invoicing), Procurement/Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Sub Ledger Accounting, etc.
Collaborate with the forecasting team to define global reporting and performance management requirements and incorporate them into the overall design.
Work with the ERP Data Team to determine requirements and mapping rules to convert data from legacy systems to Oracle
Work with the ERP Testing Team to resolve system and process issues noted during testing phases
Work with the Change & Learning team to develop the necessary training materials.
Identify and communicate requirements and dependencies with U. S. Steel legacy systems groups.
Ensure adherence to project methodology and ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in a quality manner for the process team
Communicate and coordinate team status, activities and issues to the Record to Report Process Team Leads
Work with Process Team Lead and Shared Services lead in order to utilize shared service resource effectively
Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements.
Monitor and assist in resolving issues regarding the teams approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule
Communicate team member roles and expectations
Develop, implement, and maintain the Process Team Project Plan (includes all management plans)
Facilitate design workshops with business users
Serve as liaison to business community including super users and process area sponsors.


Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required in Accounting, related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years EBS OPM application experience
3-5 years troubleshooting and problem solving experience


Other Preferred Experience:
Experience with financial planning and consolidation (i.e., Consolidated Statistical Information system, Consolidated Monthly Financial Reporting Package, Monthly Report of Operations, Outage and M&G report, Operating Efficiency Report, CCIP, etc.)
Experience with forecasting and analysis processes plant and headquarters
Ability to work with a cross-functional teams to deliver common objectives
Ability to lead effective meetings, including user design review sessions and stakeholder review meetings
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and methods
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with steel manufacturing operations and related key costing methods and approaches

Travel:
Varies depending on deployment schedule.
Generally 20-30%, but will peak to 100% for 1-3 month periods in support of deployments. Travel will be to other plant locations in the U.S.
