Desired Characteristics:

 

• Minimum 5 years Software Product Development Experience
• Knowledge of automation procedures and the challenges encountered in automating.
• Cloud deployment experience
• Knowledge of configuration tools like Chef/Ansible/Vagrant …
• DevOps experience
• Experience in container technologies like Docker / LXC …
• Deep technical understanding to lead and innovate best of class enterprise solutions.
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation
• Experience using github and other version control software.

 Technical Expertise:

• Experience working with and setup of automation using tools such as chef/ansible/puppet
• Ruby/Python/Java Programming experience
• Fluency in Linux scripting: shell scripting, lightweight PHP
• Experience in web services/REST API
• Experience administering Linux in a physical/virtualization environment
• Experience with VMware technology
• Experience with OpenStack
• Basic understanding of Unix / Linux programming
• Experience in full stack development
• Able to identify tasks that needs to be automated and has no tolerance for mundane tasks
• Passion for problem solving and conflict resolution
• Good communication skills with ability to work with teams in an effective manner

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• 5+ years of production support experience in a SaaS or Cloud based environment
