Job Title: Sr. Application Support Analyst (2162016--MIGR-MAFA-IO30-REST)
Location:   Reston, VA

Duration:   6+ months
Emp.Type:  H1, TN, EAD, Green Card, US Citizen (Must be on your W2, no layers)

Description :

*NOTE: This is not a developer role but the resource will be working in the production support team and work closely with Developers.

Daily Tasks/Responsibilities:
Provide production support for Financial reporting application.
Perform batch job execution, monitoring.
Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis working with Dev team.
Implement production changes and perform system shakeout.
Working with business, DBAs and Dev team coordinate Data Correction
Send out issue notification to larger audience and also run conference call in case of production issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in IT or related filed is preferred.
7-10 years of IT Application production Support experience.

 

 

Unix, Autosys and Oracle skills essential.

Hands on experience in Putty, Toad required.
Should be familiar with MS Tools such as Excel and Visio
Effective team player, good communication skills, and adaptive to new project support initiatives.
