Job Title : Quality Assurance Analyst(2216-JAMU-OGPS- IOM-FAFAX)

Location :  Fairfax,VA

Emp.Type : W2 / 1099



Looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst I to write and update test cases, plan functional testing, write bug reports, create test data and validate results. Additionally, QA Analyst I may meet with internal team members in an effort to better understand how a feature or product will be used. This understanding should be applied in the testing process. Quality control activities may include functional and non-functional testing such as regression, system, integration, security and performance testing.  

The Analyst I will work with their team alongside requirement specialists, architects, DB analysts and developers. Effective communication and collaboration are essential to a team's success. Accordingly, the Analyst I must facilitate intra- and inter-team communication. In an agile organization where flexibility is integral to success, the Analyst I needs to adjust to changes with the development and database teams to meet  business needs.


 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in CIS or related field preferred
  • 2 + years QA experience
  • Ability to write concise bug reports and test cases
  • A good understanding of cross browser testing, typical vulnerabilities
  • Desktop, Web and Mobile app testing
  • SQL Server experience
  • Selenium JMeter, Cucumber and automated testing tools experience preferred
  • JIRA and Confluence experience preferred
  • Experience using command line
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work out of the  Fairfax Office
  • No travel required
