Job Title: Test Engineer (Level III) (71315-RECCAR-IO32-C-ARI)
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 1-5 years contract
Emp.Type: W2/1099

Responsibilities:
* Performs manual, automated and performance system testing of client/server and web based applications including E-Verify and SAVE along with other online applications while implementing agile methods and processes.

 

* Utilizes automated tools including Mercury Quick Test Pro, Apploader, Load Runner, etc.
* Contributes in daily SCRUM meetings with other scrum teams to plan, script and implement test plans, cases and scripts.
* Performs analysis of documented user requirements and direct s or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements.
* Participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), risk management assessment and software/hardware development.
* Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation supports specified time lines and budgets.
* Conducts and produces sprint planning meetings and estimates end user stories.
 * Responsible for developing testing plans, ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

Required:
* Experience with agile environments, .Net, SOAP UI, Windows Office and servers, Apploader, Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Rational Test Manager, Load Runner, etc. is required.
* A Master's Degree or higher and/or 15+ years of experience required.
* Must be able to obtain a DHS/USCIS EOD Suitability Clearance.
* Experience with UML, HTML, SQL, and C is preferred.
