Job Description:

 

Minimum 8+ years of experience in design and development of large scale Information products and services with following technologies: Java, JavaScript,
JDBC, J2EE, CSS, HTML, Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, Struts, IBM DB2, SQL, Linux, IBM Websphere , LDAP, Messaging (JMS, ActiveMQ), Middle Tier Development, XML, Web Services, etc.

· Strong Object Oriented fundamentals and experience in JAVA
· Strong java UI experience in designing configurable and extensible web-based User Interface modules
· Strong hands on experience in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and JQuery with JSON.
· Strong experience in creating interactive web UI applications using AJAX
· Experience in developing and implementing the UI for a commercial Web-based software project, including requirements analysis, writing functional
specifications, designing, coding, testing, and implementing.
· Experience writing scalable multi-threaded Java applications
· Knowledge of REST, SOAP Web Services and SOA
· Experience with JS frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, Underscore, Node, etc.
· Highly self-motivated and must be able to work independently or within a team.
· Agile and Scrum experience is desired.
· Demonstrate experience in developing and supporting business applications for large corporations with experience in both online and batch systems.
· Must be very proficient in latest application development technologies, tools, databases and methodologies.
· The ideal candidate will be creative and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical and debugging skills.
· Ability to juggle multiple projects and change direction mid-course based on business drivers.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs.
· Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low level technical view.
· Excellent process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related technology discipline.

 

Must have skills:
Strong java UI experience in designing configurable and extensible web-based User Interface modules.

Strong experience in creating interactive web UI applications using AJAX.

 

Nice to have skills:
Agile and Scrum experience is desired.
