Job Description:

 

iORMYX is seeking a JUNIOR OLAP Developer for our client in Cleveland, Ohio

 

Required Skills:

 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or related field) preferred; an equal amount of real world experience may be substituted.

At least 2-3 years of development experience in OLAP Cubes, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS.

At least 2-3 years of experience in OLAP cube design and implementation for large terabyte size data warehousing installations.

In depth understanding of Microsoft Query through Excel for accessing OLAP Cubes.

Working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 or newer.

Experience with documenting the design and code/programming used, event response for production support issues, Unit Test Plans, Code Reviews and issues, and code walkthroughs.  Experience with preparing presentations and/or documents for review by management and aligned business people.

 

The ability to consider technical decisions as part of a multidimensional problem, balancing standards, principles, project management disciplines (time, cost, schedules), team norms (consultation, decision-making, communication) and process.
