Senior Project Manager (071212-RICFUR)

Job Description: Top 3 Skills:
1. Must come from a Healthcare background.
2. Experience managing multiple projects to improve and automate cross-functional processes for Sales, Underwriting, or Finance teams.
3. Experience providing recommendations for business process model architecture and end-to-end process improvement.

Responsibilities:
Provides business process consulting and project management services to the Large Group business unit.
Manages multiple projects to improve and automate cross-functional processes for Sales, Underwriting and Finance teams.
Provides recommendations for business process model architecture and end-to-end process improvement.
Develops and implements solutions with business and automation teams.
Develops and administers business process governance model, policies and standards.
Manages process improvement request log.

Education/Requirements:
8 to 10 years process improvement, project management or organizational development experience.
Demonstrated competency in business project management and analysis. Six Sigma certification or Project Management certification preferred. Data analytics experience helpful.
Bachelors Degree required.
Technically proficient, having broad background in process modeling and problem solving tools. Knowledge of healthcare organization structure.
Prefer expert knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industries.
Experience with salesforce.com helpful.
Subject matter expertise in sophisticated, best-practices process improvement, organizational development, or project management processes preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to have difficult conversations.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to successfully interact with all levels of management.
Ability to coach and mentor.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Highly proficient in MS Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Project.
Demonstrated experience in cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management/project leadership on corporate/enterprise-wide projects.
Demonstrated experience managing organizational change management communication issues.
Demonstrated experience collaborating and negotiating with managers and executives.
Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and guiding employees in areas related to process improvement and organizational development.
Experience managing professional staff members preferred.
