Skills Description

Strong experience with Cognos 8.4 Reports studio, query studio, framework manager
Ability to write complex database queries, stored procedures in SQL Server and/or Oracle DB
Working experience with Cognos 10 to help migrate reports from 8.x to version 10
Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents, data models as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with functional and technical team members and/or end users
Ability to multitask and work under sharp deadlines with limited supervision
Extensive working knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.,) Change management and Quality Assurance tools is required
Cognos certification a strong plus
Knowledge of financial systems a plus
Cognos administration and deployment knowledge a plus
