Position: Java JEE Software Developer

Location: Baltimore (Woodlawn), MD
Description: long-term contract

 

Required Skills:

.       Demonstrated experience as a strong Senior Java JEE developer with large scale successful SOA implementations (user base of 30,000 - 50,000).

.       Solid demonstrated object oriented software development experience with JAVA, J2EE technologies JSP, Servlet , Struts, Spring, JSTL, EJB, WMQ, JMS, JMX, JNDI, JDBC, JAAS, JEE Security, JAXB,  JAXP, DOM, Saxon, SAX , JPA, OpenJPA, SQL, ANT, Maven, DB2, commons-logging, log4j, Junit.

.       Solid development experience with XML technologies such as XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSL, XSLT, etc.

.       Strong development experience with developing Java Web Services WSDL, SOAP, JAX-WS, XML , RESTful, WS-Security.

.       Strong development experience with web application framework and JavaScript frameworks like YUI, GWT, AJAX,  iFrames.

.       Experience with application messaging and integration technologies.

.       Expertise with IBM WebSphere Application Server and application deployment using jython, jacl, jcl scripts.

.       Prior experience with FUSE Enterprise Service Bus(ESB).

.       Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

.       Expertise with SOA system implementations using JBoss Business Process Management (JBPM), JBoss Business Rules Management System (JBRMS) - DROOLS Guvnor, Planner, Expert, Fusion, WebSphere Registry and Repository (WSRR), Apache Camel.

.       Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

.       Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.

.       Candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment.

 

Desired Skills:

.       JEE Solutions Architecture/ Systems Architecture Certification or equivalent.

.       Experience with FUSE ESB.

.       Experience JBRMS by Redhat.

.       Expertise with SOA system implementations using WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, WebSphere Registry and Repository, and DROOLs.

.       Expertise with SOA system implementations using jBPM, DROOLS, and WebSphere Registry and Repository.

 

Education:

.       MS plus 4 years experience.  

.       BA/BS plus 6 years experience.

.       AA plus 8 years experience.

.       HS plus 10 years experience.

Position: Senior Java Business Process Developer

Location: Baltimore (Woodlawn), MD
Description: long-term contract

 

Requirements:

·          Strong experience in leading the design of a services platform based on the Apache ServiceMix/Fuse stack, using jBPM as a business process engine.

·          Experience in implementing java applications using OSGi technology.

·          Experience in architecting, designing, and developing SOA-based application.

·          Strong experience in business process service orchestration and choreography tools and technologies.

·          Experience with business Process Management (BPM), Workflow engines and jBPM technologies.

·          Strong experience with jBPM5.x is a plus.

·          Designed business processes in BPM environment and develop test plans.

·          Hands-on experience with Workflow design patterns implemented with BPMN 2.0 in a large user base project implementation.

·          Strong development experience in integrating services with ESB (Servicemix/Fuse), JMS, and Web Services technologies.

·          Strong experience with Java JEE technologies including EJB, JPA, WMQ, JMS,XML, WSDL,SOAP, JAX-WS,JAXB, RESTful

·          Hands on design and implementation experience in FUSE ESB/Camel a plus.

·          Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered business applications and experience with governance, monitoring, versioning and orchestration tools.

·          Work with technical, functional teams in design and development of Business processes.

·          Project execution as well as technical design & implementation effort including middleware integration, business process modeling, applications framework, BPM run-time environments.

·          Participate in all stages of the implementation process, including requirements/design, installation, configuration, customization, testing, training, knowledge transfer and operations in a leadership or individual capacity.

·          Develop documentation that meets relevant quality standards, is technically accurate, fulfills project objectives and is presented in professional format.

·          Share best practices, productivity tools and contribute to knowledge sharing among team members.

 

Desired:

·          Knowledge of JBoss Business Rules Management System (BRMS),  Drools Expert, Drools Guvnor,  Drools Fusion, Drools Planner.

·          Experience with SeeWhy for JBoss JBPM.

·          Product integration design and implementation knowledge in one of the BPM solutions such as IBM WPS, Pegasystems is a plus.

·          Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions.

·          Experience working with complex system implementations and organizational processes.

 

Education:

·          An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience, or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 9 years of professional experience.

·          Strong experience in Service identification activities in the modeling of a service-oriented solution including service taxonomy, service layer.

·          Strong experience in Integrating existing services and business analysis using SOA principles.

·          Experience in Service detailed design and implementation activities in building composite applications.

·          Very Strong experience in UML, class diagrams, Modeling tools, BPMN, IBM WBM, IBM RSA, Business Space.

·          Experience in Simulating the as-is and to-be business processes.

·          Strong experience in business process analysis coupled with use cases and existing assets analysis.

·          Strong experience in key activities for the analysis and service identification to build an optimized service oriented architecture (SOA).
