Job Description:

Client is seeking a Solution Architect for providing architecture design and support to a set of 2014 and 2015 SOWs.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist in the overall design of the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) and development of the organization's information sharing strategy, including supporting enterprise information architecture strategies and architecture roadmap defining information, and data and solution architecture for major project activities. 

Perform full life-cycle activities in support of multiple projects identified by the chief architect and development director.

Work on the architecture approach, architecture design, and prototypes for the project.

Work on the technology and tool evaluation, proof of concept and prototypes to support architecture decision.

Work with SMEs from application area on the technical analysis to support architecture and technical design.

Work with project and development managers to define the scope and develop plan for the architecture and other technical deliverables related to the project.

Required:

Experience with developing enterprise information architecture strategy, designing, and implementing information solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent work experience.

10+ years of experience in enterprise projects within the architectural domain.

3-5 years of experience as an Enterprise Information Architect. 

Expertise in developing and architecting solutions in a collaborative environment.

In-depth experience in designing and implementing information solutions.

Effective conceptualization, pattern recognition, and teaming skills.

Must have expertise in business domain, data/content, and process management.

Architecture experience implementing MDM, document management, BI, or data warehouse solutions required.

Experience with systems integration, including data and process integration, interface design, and familiarity with Web-oriented architecture techniques.

Expertise in Data-modeling and information classification at the enterprise level.

Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.

Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies, as well as of the challenges of applying structured techniques including data modeling to less structure sources.

Desired:

Experience in Healthcare Payer industry.

Ability to work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

Self-started and motivated.

Hands on experience with implementing MDM, document management, BI or data ware house solutions preferred.
