Job Description:

Systems Specialist
Analyze Verint incidents/issues and suggest/implement remediation
- DPA integrations
- Adapter set-up and troubleshooting
- Scorecard and report data problems
- DPA desktop to server connectivity
- Flow Controller
- Data warehouse incidents
- Interpreting java logs and error codes
Understand the data loads (we use flat files but, understanding of ETL would also be helpful)
Custom Report requirements gathering

 

Position Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working with Verint Work Force Optimization systems
- Desktop Process Analytics
- Forecasting and Scheduling (Blue Pumpkin)
- Main WFO Application
- Scorecards (Performance Management)
- Cognos (Not Mandatory)

 

Experienced with customer-contact support center and back-office operations along with workforce performance management applications
Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across a large business.
An understanding of corporate culture and how to promote change within a complex global business.
Strong communication skills written and verbal experience in documenting customer issues with ability to tailor the explanation of technical concepts to the audience, may be required to author technical articles to document found solutions

Environment:
Operating Systems including Windows 2000/2003/2008, Desktop (XP, Win7/8), Domains ( Active Directory) and Windows Security.

Networking including protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, etc.), components & hardware (DNS, WINS, hubs & routers), security (firewalls).

Databases MSQL (2005/2008/2012), queries, schema
Web Technology including IIS, Weblogic, HTML, .Net, administration, security, and lockdown

Desirable, but not Mandatory:
Prior experience with the installation, support, usage, or administration of Workforce Management related products or Verint software
Experience or background in programming, scripting languages as well as Oracle and SQL databases;
- Java

Education:
Engineering degree in computer science or related field
