Job Title: ETL / Informatica Developer (042214-BRABER-IO35-E-ASH)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 6+ mo. contract (strong possibility of extensions)

 

Job Description:

The project is the integration of a Trading system to a database that houses security, issuers, accounts, holdings etc.

 

Lead the development of the ETL based on the business requirements. Co-ordinate with the BA and other developers to implement. Follow around Informatica implementation and data integration.

 

Need to have:

- Strong Informatica 9.x experience working with Designer, Workflow Manager, Monitor

- Partitioning Informatica Workflows

- SQL querying experience

- Type 1, 2 and 3, Slowly Changing Dimension

- Working with Joiner, Sorter, Filter, Router, Mapplets, Lookups and other transformations

- Loading large datasets from disparate sources

- Strong communication skills

- Autosys or similar scheduling engine experience

 

Nice to have:

- Unix shell scripting experience

- SQL Server development and performance tuning

- Jira or similar issue tracking system
