Position: MS EPM Engineer   

Location: Washington, DC

# of Openings: 1

C2C Rate:  $60/hr

Contract: 8 Months+

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Work with IT technical staff to ensure accurate EPM installation and usability.

·        EPM Production Support.

·        Recommend and document effective usage of EPM features.

·        Serve as "Power User" for MS EPM tools on various projects.

·        Prepare and present recommendations to PMO office and IT stakeholders.

·        Prepare SQL reports.

·        Implement and utilize best practices relative to EPM and PMO Offices.

·        Serve as Project Manager on projects as required.

 

Education and Experience

 

·        Bachelor’s Degree a +.

·        Must have thorough understanding of Microsoft EPM 2007/2010.

·        Experience as a technical resource for implementation or migration from Microsoft's EPM 2007 to 2010.

·        Five years experience in Project Planning, Coordination, Documentation and Management.

·        Experience mentoring and training others on usage and best practices around Microsoft Project 2007/2010, and MS EPM tools.

 

Position: SharePoint Developer   

Location: Washington, DC

Contract: 8 Months+

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Ability to create dashboards/graphs within SharePoint.

·        SharePoint integration experience with other Microsoft products.

·        Thorough understanding of SharePoint’s out-of-the box features.

·        Ability to create custom site definitions (publishing, team sites, collaboration).

·        Experience using SharePoint Designer.

·        Experience with Business Connectivity Services and Web Services.

·        Experience with SharePoint Search.

·        Experience using Visual Studio 2008/2010 and .NET framework 3.5/4.0.

·        Experience with SSRS and integrating SSRS reports into a SharePoint environment.

·        Administration and Configuration of SharePoint.

·        Upgrade of SharePoint 2007 to 2010.

·        Knowledge of architectural design, hands on SharePoint/Web development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting corporate SharePoint solutions.

·        A solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010, Windows SharePoint Services, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010 and Microsoft Office suite of products (InfoPath forms, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word Documents).

·        Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint.

·        Experience in migrating SharePoint Services Sites to SharePoint 2010 platform.

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS.

·        Experience with Excel Services and PerformancePoint Services.

·        SQL Server: Experience in database retrieval, tables. views and developing stored procedures for SQL Server.

·        Data warehousing: Experience in data warehouse modeling, methodologies and best practices in developing reporting solutions against relational and dimensional data in the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack environment.

·        Front End Programming skills: VB.net / ASP.net / C# experience.

·        Business Intelligence Development Studio: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services.

 

Requirements:

 

·        Must be experienced with deploying applications to a production environment and application development lifecycle (e.g. development, testing, production, maintenance).

Responsibilities:

• C#, C++, VB or VBA for front end coding to develop reports in MS Project Server 2007 and 2010.
• Must have strong report development using SSRS.
• Work with IT technical staff to ensure accurate EPM installation and usability.
• Recommend and document effective usage of EPM features.
• Prepare and present recommendations to PMO office and IT stakeholders.
• Utilize best practices relative to EPM and PMO Offices.
• Serve as Project Manager on projects as required.
