Position: Senior TIBCO Administrator 

Location: Baltimore, MD 

Rate: $60/hr

Description: 6 month contract.

C2C is ok for this.

 

Our client has a contract opportunity for a Senior TIBCO Administrator in Baltimore, MD.

Requirements:

·          A senior experience level is defined as either having 10+ years in the IT space or 5+ years in the specific technology they are contracted for. 

·          Resources at this level would be expected to be able to take on both though leadership and team leadership roles and could work with little direction.

Responsibilities:

·          Apply knowledge and skill of TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO BusinessConnect,TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Service, XML Cannon,TIBCO SDK Adapter, TIBCO Siebel Adapter, Tibco Smart Mapper,Tibco Hawk, TIBCO Active DataBase Adapter,TIBCO Rendezvous to  act as a senior resource for Tibco middleware products, including both Rendezvous and EMS messaging protocols.

·          Experience with HP tools such as Systinet and PolicyEnforcer (PE) are highly preferred. Duties include system administration such as installation, configuration, and testing of Tibco components in both unix and wintel environments, as well as the development of business logic and data mappings using Tibco middleware tools.

·          Consult and coordinate closely with internal/external clients on complex and/or ambiguous issues/projects to gather information/requirements, advice on technology choices, and confirms project specifications. 

·          Undertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge and develop practical, workable, and cost-effective solutions to business problems to satisfy client requirements. 

·          Monitor progress against project time-frame and goals. 

·          Consult and/or actively participate in the management and optimization of computing resources which could involve multiple functional areas. 

·          Monitor project schedules and costs, take action to stay on schedule and maintain cost. 

·          Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff. 

·          Effectively research, analyze, and identify current and emerging technology trends/products/concepts that can improve the team's or client's business process.
