DATA QUALITY ANALYST: SQL; Unix; Oracle; Teradata

Location :   (CUPERTINO, California)

Duration : 6 months

Rate: $55/hr.

Need GC/Citizen/EAD/TN or H1 transfer only.


Summary:
One role would play a more technical role with a hard-core SQL and Unix focus.
The second role would be working with on designing and implementing the larger scale and more complex data quality initiatives we are working on this year.
He/she also needs to have a strong technical skill set, but would also have the ability to think more strategically with a solid grasp on business issues and objectives and the implications of different solutions.

Job Description:
Work with Business partners in and outside the company to identify Data Quality issues and address them in matter of urgency and priority.
Drive improvements of the organization, processes and use of systems and data.
Execute data profiling, data cleansing, and data improvement initiatives
Design and implement data quality monitoring reports, processes and governance
Document existing and potential data structures and data flow processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree
Strong SQL Experience (Oracle/Teradata) (Ad-hoc Reporting, complex queries, etc). Preferably 5+ years
Strong Unix experience (shell scripting, grep, find, etc..) Preferable 5+ years
Working with very large data sets - millions of records in both databases and in flat files.
Monitoring/Alerts for Data issues.
Auditing and Gap analysis.
Previous experience with Data Quality Initiatives (data improvement, accuracy, completeness and data integrity).
Ability to investigate anomalies and independently problem solve.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
