Hyperion DBA

Required Skills/Experience:
--The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or related subject. A masters degree in related field is desired.
--Must have a minimum of 3- 5 years hands on experience on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System, Fusion Edition.
--In addition the selected candidate must have: a minimum 2-3 years experience on Implementation of High Availability of Hyperion Components such as Planning Server Cluster, Essbase Cluster, FDM Cluster, Financial Reporting Cluster, and Financial Management Clustering; Backup and Recovery experience of Hyperion Environments; hands on experience on 10g Applications Server; excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions; excellent planning, research, time management, multi-tasking, problem resolution in a demanding situation supporting production systems and decision making abilities; the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants; ability to take directions and plan and execute independently or with minimal guidance and hands on experience of Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Single Sign On (SSO) integration with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Fusion Edition.
--In addition, a big plus is a good understanding of Storage, Network, server technology operating systems for optimal application performance; experience in supporting Development and Production environments and good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills are required. Knowledge of Quest-stat ,HP-PPM (Kintana) for Configuration migration is plus .

Role:
Client seeks to hire a dedicated professional to provide significant contributions required to assist in the installation and support for Hyperion suite of products. These products support the Companys financial planning budgeting and consolidations.

Selected candidate will lead the installation, configuration, patching and upgrades of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management suite of products. These include Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management, Hyperion Strategic Finance, Enterprise Performance Management Architect, Report and Analysis; lead the support for the high availability setup of Hyperion Components (Planning Server Cluster, Essbase Cluster, FDM Cluster, Financial Reporting Cluster, and Financial Management Clustering); manage the migration of application artifacts from development to test, and to production and disaster recovery environments; work closely with System Infrastructure teams to configure servers, storage, and network access and support and perform Database and Application, refreshes and trouble shooting performance. The individual will also create project plans and help to set work priorities; provide management with reports on status, technical options, costs, risks and issues; work with the Hyperion business users, application developers, DBAs and Oracle to diagnose and solve application errors; work with the Business Intelligent Team to diagnose and solve BI application issues and manage the application and security patches that affect the Hyperion suite of products. Candidate will assist DBA and client's "Servers and Storage Operations" group with issues related to backup and restore, High Availability, DR failovers and performance issues; diagnose and solve technology and integration issues. These technologies include the Hyperion suite of products, browsers (IE 6 and IE 8), Oracle's Single Sign-on, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle's Applications Server, and operating systems such as Windows, UNIX and Linux and will lead in application performance testing and tuning.
