BizTalk Server Senior Technical Expert

Background
The Client is implementing BizTalk Server (with ESB) with the assistance of an experienced services firm that will be responsible for design, installation, configuration and knowledge transfer. The Bank requires a technical expertise to work with the service provider to assure quality implementation and continue beyond the service provider engagement to ensure processes for continuity of services are in place, assist in building Bank technical expertise and plan interface conversions.

Candidate Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills, project management experience and ability to work independently to plan and execute work
Minimum of three (five preferred) years experience in configuration and management of BizTalk Server in a corporate critical / failover environment
Experience in toolkit implementation of MS BizTalk in a failover environment highly desirable
Knowledge and experience in .Net framework and Visual Studio integration
Experience in BizTalk integration of applications through web services and connectors, especially SharePoint, SAP and / or PeopleSoft
Experience in BizTalk integration to security and authentication services, LDAP, AD etc.
Experience analyzing and planning legacy interface conversions
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, work with vendors
Ability to communications technical knowledge to developers

Responsibilities
With minimal supervision and working with IT technical support, work with the vendor to assure quality implementation of BizTalk server, configurations, features, tools and add-ons
Advise the project on BizTalk implementation and operational requirements
Analyze legacy interfaces and design, plan and implement integrations
Estimate levels of effort and risk
Coach and transfer knowledge to Bank systems developers
Ability to manage deliverables for application integration development
Advise on application design (SOA) around BizTalk Server features
Work as integral part of the project team and IT systems development personnel
Plan, schedule, manage risk and deliverables
work closely with the web / SharePoint / search / security and other infrastructure teams
