Responsibilities:

Interview Format: Phone Screen then face-to-face interview

Must have Agile environment experience (absolute must), if they have any development background that is a bonus but Agile and QTP (ALM) is the priority. This is a top priortity and they will move quickly.

Background:

This position is for the Consumer Tools project. This is an electronic based project which combines and integrates several tools and applications for user consumption across the life cycle.

Tasks:

Work directly with the requirements analyst, developers, and technical writer to determine and develop testing methods, processes, test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts in an Agile-like or Light Agile Development (LAD) effort. Analyze requirements, design, and development. Create manual and automated scripts for environment and regression testing. Design and Architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy requirements and testing requirements. Develop functional/regression automated testing solutions using HP QuickTest Pro (QTP), and data driven techniques. Develop custom function/sub-routine libraries to support automated testing solutions.

Execute unit, integration, and eventually systems-based testing in unit and integration environments.

Competencies:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of direct development experience using an objective oriented development language (C#, .Net, Java/J2EE, Python, Ruby on Rails, etc.)

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an Agile environment and working on Agile-based/LAD development projects

Must have three (3) years experience in manual and automated testing using HP QuickTest Pro or an equivalent tool

Must have two (2) years experience using Quality Center and/or an equivalent tool.

Understanding of testing and development life cycle methodologies.

Understanding and direct use of Agile/LAD methods.

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English)
