Job Description:

Responsible for working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to manage and control the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on distributed computer systems to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability across multiple environments. These solutions must be aligned with business and GBTS strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Establishes production schedules, ensuring that appropriate jobs, documentation and data files are available. Assists in job set-up. Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution. Communicates status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions. Assists in coordinating the efforts of supplier teams when needed to develop or sustain the application environment. Actively participates in on call rotation with other team members for multiple applications and technologies.

Minimum 4 years relevant experience. Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Domain knowledge in multiple technical areas. Ability to work on all phases of functional requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication. Familiar with ITIL best practices for service design, transition and operations.

Job Details:

* Background in Java programming and XML messaging is critical for this role.

* Hands on work experience with Progress Sonic and Actional products, and can provide best practices

with all of the above.

* Must have experience with supporting SOA architectures and integration applications

(EAI, EII, ESB, BAM, BIM).

* Nice to have a working knowledge of Knowledge Management Systems such as Oracle Knowledge,

Inquira or other types of KMS products.

* Communication skill are a must for the support side of this role.

* This candidate must be well spoken and able to articulate issues quickly to all levels of Cast.
