Job Description:

7+ years database design and administration experience.

To perform this role, 80% of the day will be spent writing SQL to help identify and resolve data issues in the system with the remaining 20% spent on documentation.

Consults with and provides guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic options for automating Data QA testing solutions.

Performs moderately complex server-class database activities across various platforms and environments including one or more of the following:

 

business requirement identification and analysis; data mapping; moderate to complex SQL scripting / coding to automate and/or support the database data extractions or metrics; performance tuning of SQL scripts/code.

Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.

Required skills: 5+ years of experience in database scripting / coding. (NOTE: 80% of the job is writing complex SQL scripts)
