Job Overview:
This position is in our applications group that builds Industrial Applications for various business markets like (Aviation, Power & Water, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Transportation, etc.)
 

Qualifications / Requirements:
1 to 3 years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably using Lean/Agile/XP SDLC.
Strong communication skills since this will be a client facing role.
 

 

Proficiency on any of these technologies:
Proficiency in Java (1.7 or later), JUnit, database technologies.Experience developing web applications ( expertise in all/most of these ) - Spring MVC, Spring Web, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, Jackson, SOA, JPA
Proficiency developing web applications using NodeJs.
Proficiency developing applications using GO.
Proficiency on Python.
Proficiency on Ruby and Rails.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Hands on and basic understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems with expertise in Bash.
Basic knowledge of common web frontend technologies (HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, ECMA 6, Ajax, WebSockets).
Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches and security protocols
Strong technical and analytical skills
Experience in software design patterns, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to details
 

 

Desired Characteristics
 
Knwoledge and experience on containerization technologies such as Docker.
Experience working with GIT, Maven or Gradle, Cloud Foundry, Web Services
Experience developing applications using commonly used technologiesslike nodejs, Spring Boot, Play or a solid experience building applications on top of RESTful APIs and micro services.
Ability write unit tests(TDD practices) for backend and frontend services
Experience with API and micro services development with exposure to using a 12-factor apps
Experience working on NoSQL databases.
Experience Big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark or IOT will be a bonus
