Job Title: Sr. Date Warehouse Developer

Position: Sr. Date Warehouse Developer (Ref code: 22714-TARTHE-IO35-JOH) Location: Washington, DC Duration: 18+months; possibility to convert  Description: Working with members of team, to create additional data marts in the data warehouse; assist with addressing some operations and maintenance activities related to the data warehouse; assist in supporting applications that consume data from data warehouse. Must Have Skills: - At least 5 years of experience in SQL programming (PL/SQL or T-SQL); 3 years of which are in SQL Server 2005/2008 - At least 5 years of experience in designing and creating data marts (fact and dimension tables; star/snowflake schemas) - Strong knowledge of data warehousing and demonstrated experience in designing dimensions for efficient slicing and dicing - AT LEAST 8 years overall experience Notes from the Manager: - Really needs to understand end to end data warehousing/building data marts - SSIS/SSRS - PERSONALITY and people skills are essential in this role; as is excellent communication skills
