SR AB INITIO with ETL

Sr. ETL Developer

Duration 8  months
Location : Jersey City/ NJ
No H1 please other than H1 transfer.


Role Description:


-As an ETL developer, the candidate will be a member of technical team to build and support complex applications using Ab-Initio.
-The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and supporting applications.
-The candidate will be working closely with ETL Leads/ Managers and Business Analysts.

Responsibilities:
-Coding, testing, modifiying, debugging, documenting and the implementation of Ab-Initio graphs.
-Reviewing and analyzing functional requirements, mapping documents, assisting in problem solving and trouble shooting.
-Assisting in technical specifications and other deliverable documents.
-Developing test cases and plans to complete the unit testing. Supporting system testing.
-Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as independently.
-Providing support and the maintenance of applications.

Requirements:
-5 + years of experience working with large scale datawarehouse applications.
-4 + years of experience with Ab-Initio tool set with good working experience in Co>Op, GDE, EME.
-Must have sound experience using SQLServer database. Autosys knowledge preferred.
-Data Warehouse/ ETL development methodologies knowledge and experience is required.
-Strong Unix and Shell Scripting experience is must.
-Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the software components to support the same.
-Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills.
-Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
-Insurance domain knowledge will be an added advantage.
