Position Description:
Client Operations Center is seeking a Lead Systems engineer to perform systems analysis, design, project management and technical leadership and implementation functions for Client's complex, heterogeneous Information Technology computing environments.
Responsibilities:
Monitor existing environment for any service stoppage.
Root cause analysis, resolution definition and implementation.
Resolve issues with documents throughout the phases in the Imaging system workflow.
Stellent/AnyDoc System Administration, maintenance and support.
Documentation of Imaging environment.
Scanner support.
Mapping workflows to be converted into new system.
Assist team with the upgrade of Stellent to Onbase.
Assist team with the upgrade of Anydoc to latest version.
Analyze performance statistics (response time, throughput, network load, etc) of systems to confirm performance projections and application usage trends.
Assist with troubleshooting of system and application performance related issues and recommend fixes.
Required:
# 1 must have: Direct hands-on administration experience with document imaging systems to include Stellent, Onbase and Anydoc applications and workflows.
# 1 must have: Excellent troubleshooting of system and application performance related issues and recommend fixes.
# 1 must have: Excellent customer service skillset.
Demonstrated experience with document imaging systems that include Stellent, Onbase, AnyDoc and Rightfax applications and development of related solutions.
Has experience with scanning equipment and related interfaces.
The candidate should have extensive experience implementing and maintaining document imaging systems running in a Microsoft Windows 2008 operating system environment.
Candidate should have strong experience with Citrix infrastructure and technologies. Operations support functions in a fast-paced, time-to-market-driven environment.
Strong customer service and trouble-shooting skills a must.
College Degree or 8-10 years related work experience, or equivalent total experience.
Candidate must have extensive experience in Windows Operating System Platform, Citrix, document imaging, Active Directory and group policy.
Self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to function effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills should include ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to write reports, correspondence and procedures.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively as well as function with no supervision, under tight deadlines, and demonstrate initiative in problem solving.
Ability to work independently and do research, test and document new software and hardware in support of CareFirst, for service request, project assignments and corporate initiatives.
Strong understanding of networking typologies.
Strong understanding of Storage Area Networks.
Dell Server hardware experience, including Dell Open Manage.
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies to include VMWare ESX and VMWare view.
Proficient knowledge of data replication technologies.
Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize cross platform performance statistics and conduct capacity planning.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2013 tool set – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present (5%) and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Willingness to work from at least two corporate locations in the Washington, DC metro area.
Desired:
Demonstrated experience in the following is strongly preferred: understanding of SQL server, document imaging and workflow (using above-mentioned tools), network topology, change control processes and disaster recovery.
Experience with Solar Winds monitoring systems administration and configuration is a major plus.
Health Care Industry experience will be a plus.
