Required Skills:

Function as the Red Hat Enterprise Linux technical resource across several projects focusing on the Linux hardware and software infrastructure. to ensure these applications meet stakeholder needs. Position is responsible for the maintenance and administration of application and server resources. Additionally, provides analysis, evaluation, and support of the environment operation which includes monitoring systems, resources, applications, and users to ensure maximum system availability. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. Minimum 5 years of IT work experience focused on Red Hat Linux server engineering and administration in large production environments. Candidate must have at least 3 years of supporting Linux on HP Proliant DL line of hardware. Hands-on knowledge of design, implementation, and management and support of some or all of the following: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RH Linux Security, RH Linux performance tuning, RH Linux security hardening, Red Hat Kickstart provisioning, RH Linux patching, HP Proliant server hardware (DL 380), HP Smart Start, HP Insight Manager, RH Linux to SAN connectivity using Fiber Channel. Experience as a team member on project teams in a cross functional environment. Candidate must have strong analytical skills, team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels of the organization.
