Abinitio Development experience 5 years
Data warehousing development experience 6-8 years
Oracle database ( sql/pl-sql ) 2 years
Dimensional Modelling fundamentals knowledge.
Should have worked on large corporate ( banking/finance/insurance ) development projects
Oracle Database development ( stored procedures ) is a plus
Production support/release and change management experience a plus.

Job Summary:
This is a great opportunity for an Ab initio Senior Developer who would like to work on a large development project. As a member of the team, this person would have the opportunity to work independently on various development modules as well as collaborate with other like-minded individuals. This position requires interaction with development team, users, business analysts and project managers. Please note that we are NOT looking for a junior / mid level Ab Initio developer.

Required Skills:
The candidate must have data warehousing background; preferably in an insurance or financial industry. This person must be able to function independently throughout the lifecycle of a project and must be flexible to adapt as the projects evolve. Experience in setting up mid-to-large data warehouses, best practices and framework a must.

Technical skills and Responsibilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
Highly Proficient in the Ab Initio
High proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with strong relational database concepts
Knowledge of UNIX Operating system
Experience in enhancing functionality in large Data warehousing and Reporting Systems
Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing and deployment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with production support experience.
Professional, energetic and self-motivated with a well-defined work ethic

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree with at least 6-8 years of data warehousing development experience working on large projects. A Minimum of 5 years of Ab initio experience.
