Job Description:

iORMYX INC, is seeking an ETL Developer for a 6 month contract with possible extension and conversion with top client in San Antonio, TX.

Designs and develops ETL/data integration processes and programs to support the data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives of the enterprise Information

Management group which include data analysis, source to target data mapping, job scheduling, development and testing of Datamigrator and/or SQL ETL programs; performs interaction with Data Stewards, external vendors, and business users to resolve data questions and anomalies; mentors of other staff members; and participates in data modeling design sessions and metadata development.

Essential Duties:

Communicates with customers to obtain data requirements and performs data analysis on data provided.

Designs and implements data integration modules for Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) functions.

Designs, implements, and maintains a report, monitor, and dashboard framework.

Develops reports and dashboards for the product and specific customer projects.

Develops aggregation, monitoring, and alerts tools and modules.

Participates in the overall development process through architecture guidance, design and code reviews, and estimate and plan assistance.

Investigates new technologies and advances, especially in the areas of business intelligence.

Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Must have at least five (5) years in developing ETL and reporting solutions using Microsoft, IBM/Cognos, Oracle, Business Objects, Informatica, Microstrategy, Information Builders or similar products; and must have experience as a developer of databases using various versions of Microsoft SQL Server in a complex environment.

Must have a strong working knowledge of data modeling platforms such as Pentaho, Talend, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica, Microstrategy, Information Builders or similar products.

Must have a strong working knowledge of relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 and PostgreSQL in complex environments including both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Must have strong data modeling and design skills including conceptual, logical and physical database design, data mart creation, and database performance tuning.

Must have strong analytical, organizational, and detailed oriented skills.

Must have strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MS Excel.
