Job Description:

Unique Skillset is required that has both the architecture design and architecture demonstration (hands-on) skillset to move the organization from suboptimal legacy OLTP technologies. Must have the ability to design and demonstrate advanced OLTP optimizations and designs. Must have the ability to design and demonstrate advanced and highly scalable Relational Data architectures and solutions.

Muti-Site complex Datacenter architecture experience is also a must- have to be successful.

8+ years hands on Sr DBA with extensive Oracle Experience in the following areas with latest release Oracle 12 and DB2:

OLTP data sources optimization for performance

Data tuning and design/ redesign for performance in both normalized and dimensional data implementations

Dimensional Data design and redesign for performance

Data partitioning, query optimization, Database server High Availability Implementation. Oracle Cluster experience required with implementation experience in active-active deployment

Database replication experience in real time to local and remote sites

Utilization of SAN storage and optimization

Java Application layer to database optimizations for performance

Experience with building and maintaining MDDB structures

10+ years Data Design and Datacenter Architecture Experience including significant hands on implementation experience utilizing emerging technologies and packages.

Hands-on working knowledge of datacenter architecture related to trading partner interfaces and database and site replication.

Prefer experience with Oracle Database 12 including current implementation offerings around multitenant architecture

Transaction systems and OLTP Design (financial systems and credit cards experience a plus) requirements generation including logical and physical data designs.

Design and Implementation architectures for Real Time Transactions Interfaces between Trading partners.

Working hands on implementation knowledge of site replication technologies and packages

Experience with architecture of provisioning both relational as well as dimensional data.

Data Center Architecture experience with Hot site and Multisite operations

Excellent communications and ability to structure champion and oversee the delivery of a forward leading architecture that has many new technology features implemented and demonstrated through the architecture.
