The Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) Architect is responsible for the evaluation, design and mentoring for the Enterprise Password Vault project initiative being conducted at our clients site. Other duties may include hands on support and training of the administration team who support the infrastructure including the testing and development environments. Provide expert knowledge of the associated architectures, and serve as Subject Matter Expert to the client on those topics. Identify the hardware and software components the applications will use for implementation and provide instruction on how to appropriately implement application components. Provide industry best practice recommendations for project threads.
Oversee activities of EPV Engineering and ID Administration Staff, as applicable and provide individuals with constructive feedback as it pertains to team performance; coach staff in technical matters and delivering on other job-related responsibilities; conduct performance reviews, appraisals and personal development planning with each team member; and promote effective teamwork and resolve interpersonal issues.
Answer general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access - Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls.
Participate in implementation of security related projects for new/enhanced technology - Perform required tasks to implement new or enhanced security products and tools on supported.
Qualifications
5 plus years of Information Security policies/practices; Incumbent should have prior Wintel platform administration experience.
Extensive knowledge with One of the enterprise password vaulting software packages. (Cyber-Ark, CA PUPM, Secret Server, e-DMZ, Symark)
Up to date knowledge of current Information Security trends and potential threats based on weaknesses of various software/development packages.
Up to date knowledge of Audit principles and associated compensating controls.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
Extensive experience with client/server environments; Must be PC and system literate.
Minimum2 years of basic knowledge in administering Active Directory (NT).
Basic project management knowledge.
2 years of scripting knowledge a plus (VB, Perl, Shell, .Net, etc.).
Previous Automation experience desired.
Wide range of technical familiarity desired (Windows, Unix, Databases, Active Directory, LDAP, Cisco, etc.).
The ability to produce architectural and other related documentation.
