Our client in Baltimore, MD area is looking for a Sr. Java Business Process Developer to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
Responsibilities:
· Under the Disability Case Processing System program, our client supports the full range of IT integration services supporting a multi-platform computing environment, including: information systems modernization initiatives, software engineering, project management, infrastructure services, data warehousing, database administration, research, planning, security, federal enterprise architecture initiatives, research and all levels of Internet, Intranet and Web portal initiatives and migrating legacy architecture to web-based platforms. Our client has an immediate need for a highly motivated Senior Java Business Process Developer. The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. The candidate will be responsible for the architecture design, development and implementation of a SOA based JEE based software system with a user base of 30,000 – 50,000 users.
Requirements:
· Strong experience in leading the design of a services platform based on the Apache ServiceMix/Fuse stack, using jBPM as a business process engine.
· Experience in implementing java applications using OSGi technology.
· Experience in architecting, designing, and developing SOA-based application.
· Strong experience in business process service orchestration and choreography tools and technologies.
· Experience with business Process Management (BPM), Workflow engines and jBPM technologies.
· Strong experience with jBPM5.x is a plus.
· Designed business processes in BPM environment and develop test plans.
· Hands-on experience with Workflow design patterns implemented with BPMN 2.0 in a large user base project implementation.
· Strong development experience in integrating services with ESB (Servicemix/Fuse), JMS, and Web Services technologies.
· Strong experience with Java JEE technologies including EJB, JPA, WMQ, JMS,XML, WSDL,SOAP, JAX-WS,JAXB, RESTful
· Hands on design and implementation experience in FUSE ESB/Camel a plus.
· Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered business applications and experience with governance, monitoring, versioning and orchestration tools.
· Work with technical, functional teams in design and development of Business processes.
· Project execution as well as technical design & implementation effort including middleware integration, business process modeling, applications framework, BPM run-time environments.
· Participate in all stages of the implementation process, including requirements/design, installation, configuration, customization, testing, training, knowledge transfer and operations in a leadership or individual capacity.
· Develop documentation that meets relevant quality standards, is technically accurate, fulfills project objectives and is presented in professional format.
· Share best practices, productivity tools and contribute to knowledge sharing among team members.
Desired:
· Knowledge of JBoss Business Rules Management System (BRMS), Drools Expert, Drools Guvnor, Drools Fusion, Drools Planner.
· Experience with SeeWhy for JBoss JBPM.
· Product integration design and implementation knowledge in one of the BPM solutions such as IBM WPS, Pegasystems is a plus.
· Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions.
· Experience working with complex system implementations and organizational processes.
Education:
· An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience, or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 9 years of professional experience.
