Must Haves:

     Familiarity with or working experience in an Agile, Kanban, Scrum or other development environment

   Must be open to occasional travel and/or work a flexible schedule including the possibility of on-call rotation

Essential Responsibilities:

Maintain and support Software Development and automation tools that will support, enhance and grow our tools ecosystem

Assist the developer community by improving productivity in development integration and automation

Listen to, prioritize, and document requests and issues, ensuring documentation and follow-up.

Participate in the team workflow to drive innovation and improvements in our core service offerings

Help evaluate solutions for teams across a wide range of industries and regulatory requirements

Desired:

Knowledge of tools development using java, python, ruby or other functional language of choice

Experience in automation using Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, CFEngine, etc

Familiarity with Linux OS and performance optimizations. Knowledge of Linux or Unix internals and administration is highly desired

Basic understanding of modern application technologies and design patterns including Cloud infrastructure, distributed computing, and horizontal scaling

Working understanding of relational database technologies

Basic familiarity with modern storage technologies

Excellent written and verbal communication

Knowledge of Cloud technologies and system virtualization

Self-starter who is motivated to learn and is at ease working as part of a team of highly talented professionals

Working proficiency with one or more of the following: Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo, Electric Commander, Travic-CI, Coverity, Black Duck, GitHub, SVN
