Job Description:

Performance Engineer: working on enterprise level solutions that consist of middle layer platforms such as Tibco. The performance engineer must be proficient in building complex SQL queries (DBA experience a plus); unit testing Web Services, developing messaging clients for flat files (EDI transactions).

The senior Software Performance Engineer will:

- Evaluate and identify the components in the program that should be covered under performance testing scope.

- Design performance testing approach plan for all the components and present the same to the stakeholders to obtain their approval.

- Calculate peak load for online and web services based scenario based upon application utilization data such as number of users, session duration etc.

These skills would be a major plus:

- Experience with SOATest/SOAP UI, Web Service protocol in Loadrunner a plus or Web Service development experience is equivalent

- Strong correlation and parameterization skills for Loadrunner a plus

- SQL query writing skills and ability to create conditions to extract the data.

- Ability to understand and manipulate XMLs.

- Knowledge of 837 data format would be a plus.

- Ability to write scripts in any language such a C/Java/Perl/shell etc to parse logs would be a plus.
