Required Skills:

 

Well-Rounded experience in Windows Server Administration

More than 5 years experience in the in the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Ability to work independently and correct issues as they arise without supervison

Proficiency in administering open-source and SQL databases to support the migration effort.

DELIVERABLES:

 

Typical Sites Tasks Required:

Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, virtualized servers, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Installs new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures

Recommends innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks, including virtualized environments

Applies OS patches and upgrades, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities.

Configures / adds new services as necessary.

 

Addition Skills:

 

Install DB software/executables to meet SAP standards (drive layout for data files & logs).

Transfer or Replicate Data.

Import / Export DB from one DB vendor to another DB vendor.

Install and test upgrades and patches.
