Description:

Position Summary

Selected individual will be responsible for Application Lifecycle Management using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 and/or 2012 for a geographically distributed development team that develops multiple software products on multiple branches.

Responsibilities include:
- performing software build and release management activities Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- developing, configuring and implementing processes for branching and merging
- maintaining MS Build configurations and deployments
- supporting templates for TFS work items
- supporting integration with Microsoft Project Server
- setting up and maintaining automated continuous integration builds
- automating build process for release candidate versions of software products
- assisting with configuration management hardware monitoring, and disaster recovery planning and implementation
- taking on other relevant responsibilities as determined necessary by management


Experience And Qualifications

Required skills and experience:
- 4 years of Configuration Management and Build/release management experience for software written in.NET framework
- TFS 2010 / 2012 setup administration and day-to-day configuration management activities minimum 2 years (hands-on)
- Managing CM environments using VMware 2 years (hands-on)
- Working knowledge of .NET programming language(s) to help identify/debug build issues
- Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organization skills
- Self-starter, capable to working independently or as part of a team in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment

Desired skills and experience:
- MS Build- 2 years
- Agile methodology for software development lifecycle 2 years
- SQL for database queries and reporting 2 years
- Microsoft SharePoint 1 year
- Knowledge of other configuration Management tools such as Subversion, ClearCase etc.
- Build scripts such as (N)Ant or Maven
- Development Skills using C#
- Advanced XML, XSLT, XML-Schema skills
