Job Description:

Our client is seeking a CA Wily Engineer for a contract opportunity in Woodlawn, MD.

Responsibilities:

The scope of work is to provide CA-Wily 9.x development/engineering support.

Requirements:

Successful candidates must have experience administering CA Introscope and CA CEM platforms. This includes Enterprise Managers, java agents, TIMs and

dashboard/report/alert development.

Ability to load data into Websphere application servers.

Experience with upgrading CA-Wily from version 9.0.x to 9.1 is required.

Excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to train internal and external customers on the functionality of CA-Wily 9.x.

Skills preferred but not required include Websphere, Unix, and Linux administration, ITIL Foundations, project leadership experience including direct customer interface,

and good general presentation skills.

Web services development experience.

Demonstrated experience with the installation, configuration and maintenance of CA Wily APM components including NetQoS, SuperAgent, TIM, CEM, Wily

Introscope  for Unix environment and network taps and aggregators.

Demonstrated abilities in problem isolation, application troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

 

Desired Skills:

Experience with application development using Java, .Net, and databases (Oracle or SQL Server).

Experience with Unix operating systems.

Demonstrated understanding of network architecture and protocols.

Experience with programming languages, e.g. Perl, C++ - demonstrated ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills including ability to develop and present training to all levels and communicate project status to management and technical resources.
