Description:
The Business Process Execution Language-Business Process Modeling Notation (BPEL-BPMN) Developer functions in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-driven organizational framework and participates in the design, development, and testing of new applications and sub-systems. This position includes detailed design, complex implementation, interfacing, integration, unit testing, documentation, and maintenance responsibilities for the complete enterprise client and web applications. The BPEL-BPMN Developer will:
Work with development, engineering, and quality assurance (QA) teams to support testing of developed applications
Deliver design, code and unit test results; perform diagnostic analysis of test results and deliver solutions to critical areas.
Perform IT reviews and deployments related to BPEL-BPMN development
Maintain assigned applications and obtain a working knowledge of enterprise applications
Maintain industry/technical knowledge base and facilitate/maintain industry relationships
Create and maintain documentation related to business processes, software programs, applications, architecture, and integration.
Perform within existing standards and architectures and work with architect to extend / modify architecture where appropriate
Collaborate with Project Managers, Application Developers, Database Team Members, QA Analysts, and Business Users in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications
Participate and provide leadership in the installation, configuration, deployment, and administration of Business Process Management product suite and process engines
Run and monitor performance/integration/unit tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of business process and application development best practices
Gather statistics and prepare and write reports on the status of the programming process for discussion with management and/or team members
Participate in software/hardware upgrades
Liaise with network administrators, database developers, programmers, and other software engineers to resolve any defects in products or company systems
Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed
Direct and participate in research on emerging business process management and integration software products, languages, and application development methodology standards in support of procurement and development efforts
Interact regularly with managers, clients, vendors, and agencies to field queries and questions
Train, manage and provide guidance to junior software development staff as required
Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service
Identify viable technical solutions; compare and contrast solutions for the development team
Provide technical input during client strategic planning, as required
Communicate with various levels of staff to provide a regular status regarding DPEL-BPMN development projects and activities
Prioritize, coordinate and deliver special technology projects
Ensure compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) data standards
Identify tradeoffs in cost, time and performance
Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs
Required Experience:
Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in a related field
Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience with Business Process Management (BPM) technology projects
Advanced knowledge of BPMN 2.0 notation
Ability to capture requirements for business rules and express them in WS-BPEL notation
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with BPEL and BPMN notations
Experience facilitating (leading) interactive business process discovery sessions with business users and technical team
In Depth knowledge of BPM Best practices
Should be familiar with all the aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Healthcare industry background
Experience working in an SOA framework
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate at different levels of the organization
Background in Business Intelligence, Reporting and Data Warehousing
