Job Description:
Senior Business Analyst(s) as they work to create/refine business requirements, define functional specifications, and provide basic PMO type support to the project Team. The Advanced Business Analyst will be responsible for helping refine the deliverables generated during the business/systems analysis across Retail Banking deposits and banking technology, contributing to the successful implementation of projects by ensuring from the PM role that all the required tasks are appropriately understood, documented, owned, and actioned.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Assist in Documenting business and functional requirements, including data flow, business rules, and Use cases
* Assist in the change management and QA/Testing phases of the project
* Assist in coordinating business unit subject matter expert meetings in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements.
* Help ensure project team is adhering to project plans and helping to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Some day-to-day support of the Work-Stream Lead?s key run-the-bank responsibilities (e.g., Release Management, Incident Management/troubleshooting)
Skills Required
Required:
* Minimum 8+ years in a large complex banking organization or major consulting organization focused on a Business Analysis type role
* Outstanding relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications
* Business Analysis / PMO background in SDLC (both Traditional Waterfall and Agile).
* Self-motivated and can work independently as well as in a team environment
* Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
* Strongly detail oriented, organized, and analytical
Skills Desired
Desired:
* QA Testing experience of applications in a financial services environment
* Familiarity with the banking regulatory environment (i.e. OCC regulations, Fed regulations, Regulatory reporting, FFIEC/FDICIA)
* Experience with some/all of the following banking products: Deposits (sweeps, checking, savings, DDA, MMDA, CD), Credit Cards, Debit Cards.
