Requirements:
Experience inputting floor plans into AirWave Management Platform including identification of obstacles to wireless transmissions (walls, pillars, etc).
Experience inputting Access Points into AirWave Management Platform
Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Specifically to assist a team to complete the data entry and design work needed to install additional.
wireless access points with the goal of improving overall wireless service to the university facilities .
Project needs a dedicated resource with the skill level of a mid-level Aruba Airwave wireless administrator to complete this work.

Job Summary:
Input floor plans into Airwave for approximately 25 buildings.
Update AirWave with walls, pillars, windows, and other obstacles to wireless transmissions.
Input existing Access Points into Airwave and place in correct locations on imported floor plans.
Identify locations requiring additional APs to ensure wireless density standards are met.
Create and export bill of materials in Airwave for review by lead engineer.
In the design recommend site upgrade such as down tilling of antenna and re - orientation of radio additions.

Preferred Skills:
Experience identifying installation locations for additional WAPs to improve coverage within AirWave.
Experience creating a bill of materials report in the AirWave.
Use of Android based tools such as WiFi Analyzer to audit actual WAP transmission strength and signal overlap at installation locations.
