Responsibilities:
* Responsible for PL/SQL design and development of data warehouses
in Oracle.
Requirements:
* Experience with Oracle 10/11g
* Experience with Data Warehouses in Oracle
* Intermediate to advanced working experience with Unix, Korn Shell
scripting
* Advanced SQL, Data Loader, PL/SQL development in a data
warehousing environment
* Experience converting ETL programs from COBOL to PL/SQL
* Experience with dimensional modeling design; writing design
specifications
* Excellent oral and written communication

Development Lifecycle.

Requirements:

Position: Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities:
* The Java/Web Services Programmer shall have solid experience in
developing, maintaining, and supporting applications including
computer/network operating systems and other system software in addition to
hands-on experience with projects supporting Service Oriented Architecture
principles.
* The incumbent will have technical accountability for projects and
must be able to work without much oversight. He or she may serve as the
leader of a team, potentially acting as a Work Order Manager or Back-up Work
Order Manager.
* Duties include developing detailed and robust requirements and
coding, testing, and implementing proposed systems.
* Candidates must also possess strong oral and written
communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues,
reports, and other deliverables to SSA counterparts.
Requirements:
* Experience with J2EE technologies such as Core Java, JSP, EJB,
JDBC, JMS, WASD, Web sphere, RAD and Servlets
* Experience with J2EE Framework/ORM such as Struts and Hibernate
* Solid OOD/OOP foundation with experience in UML diagramming and
design documentation.
* Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and
JDBC.
* Strong XML processing experience such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT,
etc.
* Experience with JavaScript, HTML, SSL.
* Experience with complex programming, program debugging, data

Position: DB2 COBOL Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Description: Long-term contract
Responsibilities:
* DB2/COBOL developer supporting a national case processing system
(CPS) used by a major Federal agency. The CPS is mainframe based (WebSphere,
DB2, COBOL) with a web front-end to facilitate use.
* The developer interacts with business analysts and the customer,
and reviews requirements documentation, such as Use Cases/Detailed
Functional Requirements (DFR) to glean and assess business requirements, and
Problem and Incident Reports (PAIRS), Change, Asset, and Problem Reporting
System (CAPRS), and Quality Center to glean software anomalies and create
solutions.
* Subsequently, applies required skills to develop and unit test
COBOL/DB2-based code.
* The developer prepares weekly status reports to report
accomplishments.
Requirements:
* Over eleven years of hands-on experience assessing business
requirements for large-scale mainframe-based applications.
* Over eleven years of recent hands-on software design,
development, and unit testing for large-scale mainframe-based applications.
* DB2 SQL, DB2 Utilities, DB2, COBOL, SQL, SPUFI, QMF, CICS, JCL,
ENDEAVOR, INTERTEST.
* Self starter - able to work with minimum supervision.
* Customer focused.
* 13 years of general experience.
Desired:
* Knowledge and understanding of the software life-cycle.
* Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to
prepare reports, briefings, and demonstrations.
* Working knowledge of CMM (Capability Maturity Model) or CMMI (CMM
Integrated).
