 Requirement Analyst
Location : DC


Must Have Skills

Minimum 10 years knowledge of how Passenger Name Record (PNR) works within in the database of a Computer Reservation System (CRS)
Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience writing Customer Requirements, Functional Requirements, Non-Functional Requirements, Performance Requirements, Design Requirements.
Business Process Re-engineering
Strong requirement gathering background-both Business, Functional and Technical Requirements
Creating Values Maps and current and future state
Knowledge of modeling methods and tools(both conceptual and logical)
Experience in process mapping, optimization, flow-charting, decomposition, swim lane diagrams, BPA/BPM software/tools.
Microsoft Office Advanced abilities with Excel, Access, Visio and Power Point (i.e., Power User)

Strong Plus (But Not Required)
Software Quality Assurance and Testing experience
Experience in User Acceptance Testing

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
Document all the needed artifacts for Quality gates
Utilize a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assess business needs and identify business priorities.
Establish liaison relationship with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Document As-Is and To-Be business models incorporating process and data models.
Develop, write, and communicate requirements for the implementation of business solutions.
Document User Acceptance test plans.
Document user test cases and validate test results during user acceptance testing.
Monitor and analyze metrics to ensure successful project completion.
Prepare weekly reports for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
Investigate, resolve and escalate problems.
Promote an understanding of IT roles, processes and activities to the business units.
Support and participate in the formal reporting of project status.
Assist in the development of user test cases and validates test results during user acceptance testing.
