1<CICS/COBOL/JCL Programmer  2>COBOL/JCL Programmer/ 3> .NET Developer Location: Baltimore/MD Position: CICS/COBOL/JCL Programmer Desccription: long-term contract Responsibilities: ·          Working with the Office of Telecommunications and Systems Operations (OTSO), which is responsible for the daily operation of programmatic and business operations. Has an immediate need for a highly motivated CICS/COBOL/JCL Developer (IT3). Requirements: ·          Expert Level Programming experience with CICS/COBOL/JCL/DB2 on the z/OS environment. ·          Output Management experience on the z/OS environment including Advanced Function Printing/Presentation, SNA Character String data (SCS), line data ·          Experience with CICS Spool commands to route print data to JES3 spool ·          Experience with using Endevor for change management. ·          Experience in developing system architecture diagrams and design specifications ·          Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to effectively interact with all levels of customer staff, and be able to flourish in a government contract setting ·          Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Education and Certifications: ·          Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11+ years or more of professional experience. Position: .NET Developer Desccription: long-term contract Responsibilities: ·          The  .NET Developer  will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of server administration, .NET Development of applications, relational database concepts,  and superior oral and written communications skills to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value.  Requirements: ·          progressive IT Software development experience in .NET ·          Knowledge of Electronic Document Management and/or Records Management Systems ·          Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 & 2010 using C#, VB (C/C++ nice but not mandatory) ·          MKS 2007 or 2009 (or Experience and understanding of any Source Control Software) ·          Windows Operating System Server 2000, 2003 and Workstation (VISTA, Windows7) ·          Ability to Develop and Maintain multiple applications simultaneously ·          Experiencing developing applications interfacing with DB2 using SQL and DB2 Connect ·          Experience developing applications that interface with IBM Content Manager ·          Experience developing applications using Document conversion tools such as Lead Tools, Snowbound etc. ·          Experience with XML processing such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc. ·          Strong relational database experience - DB2 ·          Knowledge of Internet Explorer 6 and/or 7 ·          Experience working with IBM Web Sphere Application server ·          Ability to create and maintain technical documentation of architecture, high and low level design documents for applications development. ·          Demonstrated technical leadership skills coupled with exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills. ·          Ability to create and maintain technical documentation of architecture, high and low level design documents for applications development. ·          Superior communication skills to articulate and present ideas and concepts effectively ·          Exceptional and proven problem solving skills. ·          Experience working with MKS ·          Ability to Evaluate and Analyze Systems Requirements ·          Experience with complex programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolution issues within OO application systems ·          Self managed with the ability to coach and mentor others. ·          Actively participates and leads design initiatives, design meetings, architectural review, and code reviews. ·          Designs, develops, integrates, and deploys architectural and programming solutions, with adherence to standards, plans, and specifications. ·          Designs, develops, integrates, and deploys enterprise solutions, applying reverse-engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop strategic solutions. ·          Experience working with deployment scripts - server build, installs, etc. ·          Experience implementing SOA Web Services, including security ·          Section 508 Experience ·          Ability to independently and rapidly learn new technology, as needed ·          Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project Education: ·          An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience.
