Description:
This project is to upgrade from Business Objects 6.5.1 to XIr3, as well as upgrading a third-party report scheduling system while expanding server capacity to handle overnight reporting growth. The upgrade also includes implementing a new Security Model, assisting with transitioning users away from Desktop Intelligence to Web Intelligence, coordinating training with SAP for ~850 users (combination of developers, power users, and casual users) on the new release.

Working under general direction of the Project Manager and the Project Lead, will have a major role in a complex internal system integration/implementations from inception to final customer acceptance and adoption by the affected business unit(s). the scope includes post-implementation support. This administrator role will need to be able to work with business partners, vendors, peers and senior managers across the firm to achieve results.

Assignment Description

Under the direction of the Chief Data Architect, serves as an expert Developer Oracle DBA for ODS development project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support.
SQL & PL/SQL development

Install, configure, administer and manage Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g databases
