Client is looking to bring new contractors onboard to enhance their Natural/ADABAS skills as they undergo a large Pension Solution project. The total services period may be up to twelve (12) months, with an option to extend up to Twenty-four (24) additional months.

 

All Natural Software Developers are responsible for following the SDLC methodology for development activities while working with a variety of business areas on:

Elicitation of business requirements 

Development of system solutions

Information deliverables

System enhancements

 

The developers will be performing various system analysis and programming activities related to the following mainframe pension system services: 

Resolution of Incidents

Resolution of Data Change Requests (DCR)

Analysis, extraction, and deliverables for Information Requests (IR)

Implementation of small to large sized system enhancements. 

 

The delivery of these services requires expert skills in:

Business requirement analysis

System design

Functional and technical specification documentation, programming / coding, and testing. 

 

Minimum Technical Qualifications 

At least ten (10) years of experience programming in a Natural /ADABAS development environment. 

At least fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience utilizing:

System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 

Natural Construct 

Must have demonstrated experience in writing effectively and clearly in order to prepare technical documentation to depict systems operations at a functional level. 

 

A sample technical specification or a similar or related document must be submitted to demonstrate the required technical writing proficiency.

 

Desirable Technical Qualifications 

Pension or financial mainframe system experience as a programmer / developer 

Prior experience as a Business Analyst 

Experience working with Natural for Windows 

Experience with and knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL)
