Project Manager (Scrum Master)
8 Month Contract in Richmond, VA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Must be a Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years project management experience and 1+ years of Scrum Master experience
-Experience in wireless/telecomm industry preferred
-Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
-Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
-Ability to understand technical issues at a high level thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
-Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
-Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel
-Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
-Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
-Must be ''self-motivated'' as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
-Must be collaborative in driving decisions
-Must be a team-player
-Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
-Resources may be required to occasional late nights, beyond the operational hours of public transportation. Resources will be responsible for providing or obtaining their own transportation solutions
-Shift/scheduled hours: 9AM to 6PM EST

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Lead scrum teams as a scrum leader using Agile development methodologies
-Manages all aspects of large and complex projects throughout the software development project lifecycle
-Translates user stories into sprint objectives and tasks, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on the teams deliverables throughout the lifecycle
-Develops detail Sprint schedules, resource plans, status reports and influences the effectiveness of a team that integrates multiple functions/disciplines.
-Conducts team meetings, sets and manages business owner expectations by solving complex issues and changes when appropriate.
-Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners.
-Reviews project deliverables for accuracy and apprises management of issues effecting team status and offers solution to solve the issues.
