Informatica ADMIN needed.

Informatica ADMIN
Duration: 1 yr to extend.
Location: Baltimore


This position is for an Informatica Systems Support Administrator
responsible for maintaining Informatica systems software and runtime
environment used to extract, transform and load data into various databases
at high volume. This is not a developer position.

The Informatica Systems Support Administrator is responsible for providing
technical support for the Informatica environment including assessment and
implementation of new technologies, and providing team leads with a
long-term perspective on the Informatica environments. The Admin is
challenged to work with architecture, application development and other
infrastructure teams to help achieve a state-of-the-art environment that
meets current and future business objectives.
Required Experience

* BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science,
Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred
* 2-3 years (Intermediate) 3-5 Years (Senior) IT operation with strong
understanding of supporting Unix application systems, theories, principles,
and practices
* 2-3 years (Intermediate)/5+ years (Senior) Informatica Administrative
experience
* Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols,
Database technologies, and standards
* Competent and proficient understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows Operating
platforms
* Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Technical documentation skills
* Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
* Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
