Position: ETL Developer
Location: Baltimore

Description:

Client in the Baltimore, MD area is looking for an ETL Developer to join
their team on a contract basis.

Requirements:

* Strong hands-on Informatica tools (Version 8.x+), Metadata
Manager and Data Quality, at least 8 yrs.
* Design, Develop, Test, Implement and troubleshoot ETL mappings
and workflows in a large Data Warehouse environment.
* Strong experience developing and maintaining Informatica
mappings/workflows in a data warehouse environment.
* Strong experience optimizing Informatica mappings, sessions, work
lets and workflows.
* Experience working in a UNIX, Solaris 10, and Oracle 11g
environment.
* Experienced writing complex SQL's, PL/SQL and Performance tuning
is a plus.
* Strong database experience, data analysis and analytical skills.
* Experience creating ETL design documentation and maintaining
overall design document and deliverables.
* Strong working experience of the SDLC processes.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Team player and capability to work in a dynamic environment.
* Good understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL designs for
loading Star Schemas.
* Proven experience and demonstrated success is providing telephone
support resulting in first call resolution of IT Service requests and IT
issues.
* Familiar with ticketing systems and tracking.
* Proven experience and demonstrated success in assisting customers
with technical issues on Windows based personal computers, associated
peripheral devices, network connectivity issues, video teleconferencing,
remote access to networks and password resets.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, Strong teamwork,
Ability to multi-task, Strong commitment to client service.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 8 years
related experience.
